The Streaming Giant Selects Ideal Actor for Bentham in the Hit Series Season 3

The Secret Organization is poised to play a huge role in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, even if the true confrontation isn’t set to occur until the next season, and a adored, fan-favorite member has recently been selected.

Netflix announced this week that Cole Escola will appear in the One Piece season 3 cast and will portray Mr. 2. Bon Clay possesses the power to morph into an identical duplicate of any individual they’ve touched with their dominant hand. Escola, who is non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will portray a interpretation of that character reinterpreted as gender non-binary, rather than as a drag queen, in the live-action show, as in the initial comic and cartoon version.

Escola is joined by multiple new cast members tasked with bringing Baroque Works to reality, such as leader Sir Crocodile, portrayed by Joe Manganiello, a talented actress as a key member, and an accomplished actor, who is also part of the cast as King Nefertari Cobra of Alabasta.

Although Bon Clay is a important part of Baroque Works, the persona won’t appear until One Piece season 3. Given season 2 likely to portray the Little Garden segment, this represents a notable change in the schedule of the character’s debut, one that could signal further changes to the narrative framework.

Their mix of precise humor and deep sensitivity makes them a perfect fit for the part. Besides their recent voice performance in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and several accolades for creating and performing in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, emphasizing the adaptability they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s widely praised figures.

The platform’s adapted One Piece show is due to premiere for its season two on the tenth of March, 2026.
